MegaDome Construction, a division of StratCan Industries Inc., distributes Canadian made, obstruction-free, bright, industrial fabric covered and galvanized steel framed buildings and structures in Alberta. Our buildings, which are sometimes known as quonsets, shelters or tents are available in widths from 30' - 140', and can be up to 750' long. Our buildings are Canada Building Code, CSA-A660 as well as Canada Welding Bureau (CWB) certified. We have a specific focus on serving the oil, mining, industrial and agricultural sectors as well as work with general contractors to meet client needs across the Province of Alberta. We supply quick delivery and building installation on foundations installed by others to meet your project needs.
From a safety compliance and risk management perspective, StratCan Industries Inc. is PICS Certified and registered with ISNetworld. We also are able to supply industrial overhead doors and Frost-Fighter heating systems to meet the needs of our customers.

The superior design of MegaDome trusses set it apart from other designs. Galvanized steel trusses with bronze welding make each MegaDome an exceptionally strong, corrosion-resistant building that is unique in the industry. MegaDome buildings are further strengthened through the use of an industrial 12oz PowerShield polyfabric cover that is warrantied for up to 15 years. Buildings can be purchased or leased over several years, including all installation costs, to maximize your cash flow.
MegaDome buildings can protect people, equipment, bulk and non-bulk materials from harsh weather conditions. Our buildings can be delivered to your site in 4 - 6 weeks from order date, allowing you to quickly respond to changing needs. Most buildings can be erected in 3 - 4 weeks.
Megadome buildings are each custom designed by the manufacturer for each location and certified by our Canadian engineers to meet the Canada Building Code. Blueprints are stamped by the manufacturer's own Canadian registered engineers, with a detailed foundation design provided at no additional charge.
